Got Spare Time? Wanna be part of the TGN?
We are currently in need of help in the following sections:
Forum Moderator Duties:
- Be a good moderator.
It’s that simple.
- Keep posts and
threads organized.
- Be available for
Online Tournaments, the Forums are busy when we run online tournaments, we
need some moderators to keep things settled and record some game scores if
possible. (this also might include you finding matches on bungie.net to
prove the winner/loser)
Content Writer/Finder
- Your entry into this
area is currently tentative, only because we have not seen any examples of
your writing or content scouting.
- Your first
assignment is to Find a good
news article or Item that would be interesting to the TGN Community. You
can use Digg.com / N4g.com or just do some Google searches.
- Once you find the article,
email me a link, the text you want and any pictures that go with the post.
We’ll review it and decide if it’s front page worthy.
- After you have proven yourself as a good content finder,
we’ll be looking for some original content. You can still find the
content, but you will need to do some editing and add your thoughts to the
post.
Graphics/Programming
- Your entry into this
area is also currently tentative, only because we have not seen any
examples of your design skills.
- Your first
assignment is to create a new Banner for the TGN Website. You can have motion,
or use a still picture. The dimensions are 595x90.
I’m sure you already know that the current positions are strictly
volunteer (for now) as TGN grows we are attracting the attention of major
sponsors and advertisers. If your on the TGN team before the tidal wave hit,
you have a much better chance of joining us as permanent member.
This is also the fastest way to become a live event staff member.
