12-28-08: Call of Duty Series Takes 2nd & 3rd on Xbox Live, Gears of War Falls to 4th |

According to Major Nelson's XBOX Live Activity Report the Call of Duty Series currently holds the 2nd and 3rd spots on the Weekly Xbox Live Activity Chart. Epics' Gears of War 2 sinks to 4th despite new Maps being available for Download.

Although Gears of War 2 isn't doing as well as expected, they shouldn't be counted out yet. Six months after being released, Call of Duty 4 began taking the #1 spot away from Halo 3, which is a tough task. Will GoW 2 be able to re-establish its old Fan Base? Or will Call of Duty and Halo 3 keep us occupied in the coming months leaving Gears 2 an uncrowned jewel on a journey down the list?
With the Gaming Industry growing larger by the day, anything can happen. The only factor that seems certain is Halo 3's consistency to remain on the top.
